On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a few thoughts on the New England Patriots suffocation of the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football. The Patriots defense completely manhandled the Falcons offensive line, and now suddenly look like a legitimate threat in the AFC. But before you start booking those Super Bowl hotel reservations, Pats fans, let's see how they do against the Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills the next few weeks. In the losing locker room, all eyes have to shift towards Matt Ryan and his uncertain future in Atlanta. The Falcons are in a precarious position in that they're not good enough to make the playoffs but they're also not bad enough to leapfrog the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans in the draft order. So, where do they go from here? All signs point to Matty Ice asking for a change of scenery this offseason a la Matthew Stafford, but will Atlanta let him walk without having an heir apparent waiting in the wings? More importantly, how many teams actually make sense for his services? He's played his entire career in a dome so it's hard to imagine him moving on to a cold-weather team like the Pittsburgh Steelers or Cleveland Browns, and it's highly unlikely Atlanta will let him leave to a division rival like the New Orleans Saints.
