“Oh Lisa has always loved playing tennis.” Mum would reply.
It was true, since the first time I picked up a racquet I knew I was born to play tennis. I never doubted that I was meant to become a famous tennis player one day. That is, until I realized something was living inside my head.
I remember my first tennis competition like it was yesterday, even though I was actually only 8 years old. That's when people really started to talk about me. I beat all my opponents easily. I felt so happy when they gave me the winning trophy. My parents were watching from the side and I could see them clapping and cheering.
From that moment on my whole life was tennis, I practised every day after school and all through the weekend. Even when I met my boyfriend Jack, it didn’t stop me from spending all my free time playing tennis. Jack understood, he was a keen footballer so his weekends were busy with sport too.
