“She’s not my mom,” a ten year old me mumbled under my breath as Mrs.Turpin walked away, “She’s my stepmom.”
Hi, my name is Annabelle.
My mom and dad went through an awful divorce when I was eight years old. Living arrangements were in favour of my dad while I visited my mother every other weekend.
My dad and I had a great relationship until he came home one day when I was ten years old and said that he was married.
“You must be the little angel Andrew told me so much about,” Gloria said, batting her eyelashes at my dad. “I think we’ll be great friends.”
