“Where do I turn left?” I asked my mom while I was driving. She pulled the map out and started scanning it with her eyes. It was getting kinda dark, and I was tired, so I really just wanted to get to the new place.
“Turn left after that big building over there, pumpkin” She said. “Are you excited?” She asked me. I nodded. I really was excited, because I hadn’t seen one of my best friends in ages. You see, ever since I was very young, my mom and I moved to different cities and towns every month or so. It’s all I’ve ever known, and I have friends scattered all over the place.
