I will never forget the first time I saw Mike. It was my friend Lauren's 18th birthday and we were going out for pizza at our local Italian restaurant. It was raining really hard and we made a mad dash from the taxi into the restaurant.
“Look at me!” I said. “I look like a drowned rat!”
