Then, when I hit puberty, I noticed how I started to look and sound different to the other girls. My voice went really low, and I even started to grow facial hair! I was horrified. What was wrong with me? Was I some sort of werewolf or something, growing all this hair? I didn't tell my parents, because I was just so embarrassed.
My childhood was pretty much normal. My toddler years were a blur, but the rest was full of fun memories and great times. That is, until I turned 18 and my life turned upside down. But more on that later.
