I watched as Lucas walked along the school corridor, he was so handsome and one of the most popular boys in the school. Everyone wanted to date him, including my best friend Julia and me.
“Look who it is.” I said to Julia.
“Yes and look who’s behind him.” She replied, giggling.
I turned to see who she was looking at, it was Dylan. He was one of the ugliest boys in the school, inside and out!
Julie and I had agreed a long time ago that we would never fall out over a boy. That’s why we didn’t mind that both of us liked Lucas. But so far neither of us had gotten anywhere with him.
“We really need to up our game Julia.” I said. “Of course I want to date him, but if it’s you that he wants to date then I would be fine with that, but it would be terrible if neither of us dated him.”
