My friend and colleague SB Rawz writes a wonderful column in Substack, DeathnStuff.
Recently she suggested that her readers: Take a moment to answer a question and tuck your response somewhere you’ll be sure to find it in 365 day’s time. The question is: What would you want your Future Year You to know about the You of Right Here and Right Now?
This is what I wrote: “That I had the heart to say what I mean, and mean what I say, know what I stand for, what I won't stand for, add to the peace, not go to war, and that life is all about falling apart and coming together in a never-ending cycle if I just give it room - all of it - fear and grief, joy and relief. I’m grateful to be living in my "MiddleEarthAge."
