Onur and His Big Dream
Onur was an 8-year-old boy who loved playing soccer. He played as number 7 on the Fenerbahçe Kids Team. His dream was huge: one day, he wanted to make Fenerbahçe champions, win the biggest trophy, and become the top goal scorer. His love for soccer brought him to the field every day. When he had the ball at his feet, he forgot everything and focused only on the game.
One morning, Onur went to practice with great excitement. That day, his coach announced they would pick players for a big tournament. This was one of the biggest chances in Onur’s life! But there were many talented players on the team. Onur knew he had to work really hard to grab this opportunity.
Onur worked harder than ever to get chosen. As soon as school was over, he grabbed his ball and ran to the field. But some friends criticized his playing style, saying he wasn’t strong enough physically.
When Onur heard this, he didn’t let it bring him down. He went to his coach and asked, “Coach, what can I do to get faster and stronger?” The coach smiled and said, “The most important thing for success is determination, Onur. A talented player like you can achieve anything if you don’t give up.”
From then on, Onur started working even harder. He woke up early every morning to run, practiced dribbling, and worked on his shooting to improve.
The day to choose the players for the tournament finally arrived. Onur was so excited! When he stepped onto the field, his heart was beating fast, but he calmed himself down.
The match started, and Onur did his best to show what he could do. He got a few chances to score but missed them. Just when he was about to lose hope, a teammate passed him the ball perfectly. Onur controlled it, sped up, and took a shot… GOAL!
The coaches and the crowd cheered loudly. Onur was one of the players selected!
Onur and his team were ready for the tournament. When they played their first match, his heart felt like it would jump out of his chest with excitement. His coach told him, “Just focus on your game. If you believe in yourself, success will come.”
Onur stepped onto the field and played amazingly. His team won, and they kept moving forward in the tournament. Onur’s dream was slowly coming true.
Everything was going great in the tournament until Onur twisted his ankle during a practice. He fell to the ground in pain. The doctor said he needed to rest for a few days. Onur was so sad. The final match was coming up, and it wasn’t clear if he could play.
But Onur didn’t give up. He followed the doctor’s treatment plan carefully. His teammates cheered him on, saying, “We’ll be incomplete without you on the field—get better soon!” This support gave Onur strength.
Onur finally recovered enough to play in the final match! On the day of the game, the stadium was packed. When Onur and his team walked onto the field, the excitement was at its peak.
The match was very close. With just minutes left, the score was 1-1. Onur got the ball, ran quickly, dodged the goalkeeper, and shot… GOAL!
The stadium erupted in cheers. The referee blew the final whistle. Fenerbahçe was the champion! Onur and his teammates shouted with joy. As he lifted the trophy, his eyes sparkled with happiness.
For Onur, this was just the beginning. He had won the trophy, made his team champions, and become the tournament’s top scorer! But he knew this was only the first step. He had bigger dreams: one day, he wanted to play for Fenerbahçe’s senior team and become a real champion!
Thanks to his determination, hard work, and belief in himself, Onur’s big dream had come true. And now he knew that anyone who works hard, never gives up, and believes in their dreams can achieve success!
