In Canada's top mining investment hotspot of 2023, Saskatchewan, a pioneering mineral exploration company is unearthing diamonds.
In this interview, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development George Read discusses the latest developments and plans for the company’s high-potential Fort à la Corne Project. The project contains 69 kimberlite volcanoes, many of which have been shown to contain diamonds.
Previously controlled by Rio Tinto, the Fort à la Corne Project will undergo faster development under Star Diamond by leveraging decades of prior exploration data. An updated mineral resource estimate is due by the end of June 2024, followed by a pre-feasibility study.
