S7 Ep 9Men’s Mental Health and Killing Pride with Terrence Smith
Well, hello, friends!! We’ve done it. We’ve reached the final episode of Season 7 and I’m just so grateful. I hope you’ve enjoyed this “Toni and Friends” season full of some of my favorite people. They got me through this horrific season of betrayal, and through our conversations I trust the Lord has helped you to see how you can boldly step out of hiding to find the godly community that will bring true healing. I’m joined for this finale episode by my friend Terrence Smith. Terrence is the founder of Kill Pride Club, which is a beautiful space here locally in Atlanta for men to process grief, release pressure, and grow in wholeness. During their monthly meetings, Kill Pride Club attendees explore the challenges men face in a world that often leaves them behind emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. I love this, y’all. Lean in – Terrence has lots of practical tips for men on their healing journeys! And check out Kill Pride Club, too!Thank you to our two incredible sponsors for this season of the Still Coloring podcast: Bark Technologies and “Unshakeable Moxie” from Our Daily Bread Ministries!http://info.bark.us/tonihttps://go.odb.org/toni-moxieConnect with TerrenceInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/terrenceasmith Kill Pride Club Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/killprideclubYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@killprideclubWebsite: killpride.com Watch podcast episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@tonijcollierShop Toni's merch: https://www.shopetch.co/collections/toni-collierConnect with Toni: Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tonijcollierPodcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stillcoloringpodFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/colliertoniNewsletter: ToniJCollier.com/NewsletterWebsite: ToniJCollier.comPurchase Toni's newest book, Don’t Try This Alone: https://amzn.to/3BQqaBrPurchase Toni’s children’s book, Broken Crayons Still Color: https://amzn.to/3x3I4xDPurchase Toni’s first book, Brave Enough to be Broken: https://amzn.to/3VoCjVu
S7 Ep 8Rebuilding Creative Moxie with MŌRIAH
Today’s guest is Moriah Smallbone, my co-host of the "Unshakeable Moxie" video series with Our Daily Bread Ministries! We met in a pretty unconventional way (basically creative-speed-dating style), yet there’s always been such an ease and sense of normalcy in our friendship. Goodness knows Moriah has seen me through the good, the bad, and the downright horrific these last few years. And it’s been such a privilege for me to watch her fight for her dreams. As a Latin-country artist, the last decade of Moriah’s career has been full of emotional starts and stops – moments that felt like sowing seeds in the dark while watching others’ dreams take off around her. But her story, like mine, is one of rebuilding, redemption, and finding purpose again through God and His people. If you’ve ever felt like you’re waiting on breakthrough or wondering if your hard work will ever bear fruit, this conversation is for you.Thank you to our two incredible sponsors for this season of the Still Coloring podcast: Bark Technologies and “Unshakeable Moxie” from Our Daily Bread Ministries!http://info.bark.us/tonihttps://go.odb.org/toni-moxieConnect with MŌRIAH:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/holamoriah/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@holamoriahSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1w0QYx2G0ywsCClH84FcAv?si=UDMSqwwGTcGtrHLNGYaYTAWebsite: moriah.komi.io Watch podcast episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@tonijcollierShop Toni's merch: https://www.shopetch.co/collections/toni-collierConnect with Toni: Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tonijcollierPodcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stillcoloringpodFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/colliertoniNewsletter: ToniJCollier.com/NewsletterWebsite: ToniJCollier.comPurchase Toni's newest book, Don’t Try This Alone: https://amzn.to/3BQqaBrPurchase Toni’s children’s book, Broken Crayons Still Color: https://amzn.to/3x3I4xDPurchase Toni’s first book, Brave Enough to be Broken: https://amzn.to/3VoCjVu
S7 Ep 7Community and the Mind, Body, Soul Integration with Morgan Kline
[NOTE: Thanks for hanging with us through some audio issues with this episode! If you're having a hard time following, go watch the episode on YouTube where you can turn on captions – that really helps!]Okay y’all KNOW I’ve become a Burn Boot Camp obsessed gym girly – I would not have gotten through this horrific season of divorce without caring for my body (and building a really sweet community) within the walls of my local gym. And the incredible thing about Burn Boot Camp is that I can keep my workout rhythm going when I travel and speak all across the country! In this “don’t heal alone” season of Still Coloring, I wanted to chat with the CEO and co-founder of Burn Boot Camp, Morgan Kline, because goodness knows Burn has helped me heal. Morgan and her husband Devan lead this company so well, and I had the opportunity to tell her that in this episode! We talk about the importance of community, consistency and challenge – the three C’s of Burn! – and about honoring God through how we care for our bodies. Y’all go check out a Burn Boot Camp near you and tag me when you do!Thank you to our two incredible sponsors for this season of the Still Coloring podcast: Bark Technologies and “Unshakeable Moxie” from Our Daily Bread Ministries!http://info.bark.us/tonihttps://go.odb.org/toni-moxieConnect with Morgan:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/morgan.a.klinePodcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-burn-boot-camp-podcast/id1622371412Website: https://burnbootcamp.com/morgan-proud Watch podcast episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@tonijcollierShop Toni's merch: https://www.shopetch.co/collections/toni-collierConnect with Toni: Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tonijcollierPodcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stillcoloringpodFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/colliertoniNewsletter: ToniJCollier.com/NewsletterWebsite: ToniJCollier.comPurchase Toni's newest book, Don’t Try This Alone: https://amzn.to/3BQqaBrPurchase Toni’s children’s book, Broken Crayons Still Color: https://amzn.to/3x3I4xDPurchase Toni’s first book, Brave Enough to be Broken: https://amzn.to/3VoCjVu
S7 Ep 6Sitting in Grief Together with Eryn Eddy Adkins
Well, you guys, I apologize in advance for the snot-cry-filled audio of this episode, but that’s how you know we went REAL DEEP on the topic of sitting with your friends in grief.Eryn Eddy Adkins and I have been friends for nearly a decade. She knew me when I was freshly divorced and then remarried… and now divorced again. It’s so sweet to have a friend who has seen you through all the seasons of adulthood, and the story of redemption I’ve seen in Eryn’s life has given me so much hope for the work God is doing in mine. We cry a lot in this episode – we sat down to record just days after the tremendous heartbreak of lightning striking her parents’ 20,000-square-foot barn. The devastating fire destroyed heirlooms and family photos they’ll never get back. You’ll hear us process through that together. And because we’ve been friends through various dating and marriage contexts, we also talk about fighting to not find our worth in men, and that’s a conversation I think A LOT of women need to hear today.Thank you to our two incredible sponsors for this season of the Still Coloring podcast: Bark Technologies and “Unshakeable Moxie” from Our Daily Bread Ministries!http://info.bark.us/tonihttps://go.odb.org/toni-moxieConnect with Eryn:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/eryneddyYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@godhearsherodbmPodcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/god-hears-her-podcast/id1511046507Website: https://soworthloving.com/ Watch podcast episodes on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@tonijcollierShop Toni's merch: https://www.shopetch.co/collections/toni-collierConnect with Toni: Personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tonijcollierPodcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stillcoloringpodFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/colliertoniNewsletter: ToniJCollier.com/NewsletterWebsite: ToniJCollier.comPurchase Toni's newest book, Don’t Try This Alone: https://amzn.to/3BQqaBrPurchase Toni’s children’s book, Broken Crayons Still Color: https://amzn.to/3x3I4xDPurchase Toni’s first book, Brave Enough to be Broken: https://amzn.to/3VoCjVu
S7 Ep 5Alcohol and Accountability with Debra Fileta
I’m so excited for you to hear this conversation today with my friend Debra Fileta. Debra and I have been ministry friends for a while, but she’s played a unique and important role in my healing journey over the past year as it relates to wise counsel around numbing through alcohol. At the end of 2024, I made a decision that alcohol could not be a part of my life any more, and Debra is holding me accountable to what I’ve promised myself and the Lord. Think of this episode as a collab of sorts – I was on her podcast, “Talk to Me,” earlier this summer, and I’m bringing our conversation over here to my podcast listeners too. We talk about asking for help, revealing our weak spots, and learning to trust again after betrayal. I hope it’s a helpful conversation for you too! S7 Ep 4When New Friends Rally with Rachel Awtrey
You ever stumble into a friendship? You meet someone randomly or have a brief encounter with them and then realize that you’ve actually found a meaningful connection? That’s how I feel about Rachel Awtrey. Rachel had me on her podcast back in 2023 and asked about my marriage during the interview, not knowing I was in the early stages of going through my divorce. After the mics stopped recording, I opened up and asked if we could edit that part out, and Rachel saw me. She kept leaning in when she could have just moved on, and I felt genuinely cared for. Since then, she’s followed the Lord’s prompting to reach out in moments when she didn’t know I needed a tangible reminder of God’s love for me. I hope this episode gives you some bravery to start tiptoeing toward strangers and also provides some practical tips on finding and stewarding safe friendships. Rachel uses some gym metaphors for seeking joy in life, and you KNOW I loved those! Y’all go check out her new book too! S7 Ep 3Allies in Pain with Lisa Whittle and Jo Saxton
Jo Saxton and Lisa Whittle are who I call my “allies in pain.” They are like big sisters to me, lifelines whom I can text at any time for advice. The idea of “withness” that I talk about in my new book, someone’s presence with you in your pain – they have lived it out so beautifully. And they were relentless in making sure that I told the truth about the betrayal I experienced in my marriage two years ago. Lisa, Jo, and I have a conversation about finding (and being) trusted friends, saying the hard and difficult thing in a loving way, even when someone is in pain, and why it’s important that we process hard things with our integrated mind, body and soul in mind. We end the episode with Lisa and Jo mom’ing us a bit, sharing the best advice they’ve passed on to their own daughters. S7 Ep 2Godly Adult Friendships with Jackie Hill Perry and Megan Ashley
Jackie Hill Perry and Megan Ashley became friends within the last few years and it’s not an exaggeration to say that their friendship has literally blessed millions. They were once strangers but now they spur each other on in ministry, pray together, keep each other accountable, and fight for unity… and I think we can all learn something from the way they prioritize their friendship. There’s a lot of fear when it comes to friendship, but I pray that this conversation helps you to see just how sacred friendship can be when you intentionally create safety and pursue Christ together.
