Big Ben’s Heinz Field Farewell, Baker Mayfield Not in Cleveland, Antonio Brown One More Chance, College Football Playoff Flaws, Fans Frustrated by Dave’s Fruit of the Year

Dave says goodbye to Big Ben Roethlisberger who likely played in his final game at Heinz Field last night and wants to celebrate the Steelers once again recording a .500 or better season. Sal and Martin then snap him back to the reality of what a terrible game it was. The guys discuss yet another bad performance from Baker Mayfield and questionable coaching from Kevin Stefanski as the Browns regressed as a franchise. Plus, TJ Watt dominated and likely earned himself Defensive Player of the Year. Sal, Dave, and Martin discuss the Steelers possible playoff scenario and the NFL’s scheduling problem, and a unique situation where the Raiders and Chargers could both get in with a tie. Then, they try to make sense of the Antonio Brown situation and if another team would sign him and take the chance he wouldn’t have another outburst. Next, the guys get into an argument about the College Football Playoff and how many teams should get in as Sal believes the SEC has a much stronger schedule than any other conference in the NCAA. Plus, a preview of Georgia/Alabama. Dave takes heat from fans over giving the Envy apple his coveted fruit of the year and Martin compares it to the College Football Playoff; the apple should have its own conference.
