Ep 130Final regular season weekend in college ball, breaking down DI, DII, and DIII games to watch
Conference tournament time is upon us. The Big Ten Tournament gets started this weekend, while everyone else plays their final regular season game in search of a good seed, hosting a game, or even just keeping their season alive. We talk through DII and DIII games to keep an eye on this weekend, then go through the entire DI slate to talk games and impact on conference tournaments. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 129Josh Byrne stepping away from Carolina Chaos, Top 20 poll and RPI Talk
We're back! After a nice vacation, I have returned to the podcast routine. We've got big news to start with today, as we discuss Josh Byrne stepping away from the Carolina Chaos this summer. We talk through what that means for the team, players prioritizing their health and family, and reasons you should tune into some MSL and WLA ball. Then, it's the Tuesday Top 20. I go through my latest media ballot, and we talk tournament resumes and the RPI along the way as we get closer to Selection Sunday. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 128A late top 20, DIII with Matty P, Weekend Preview plus RPI Talk
Positive Friday! We have a belated run through the Top 20 quickly, before we get to the upcoming weekend. We've got Matty Petrone here to talk to DIII ball, with exciting results from the weekend and games to look out for this weekend. Then, the DI rundown. Every game plus picks, and we talk RPI along the way as tournament resumes get talk. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 127Bracketology, Midseason All American rants, and the Weekend Preview
Happy Friday! Packed show this week. We start by going through some of the latest bracketology from Inside Lacrosse. Terry Foy's first bracket came out and, as expected, people are angry at some of the decisions. We talk about the exercise, the criteria, some bubble resumes, and why we love to play the "if the playoffs started today" game. Then, college ball. No Matty P this week, so I shout out a few DII and DIII games that should be on your radar this weekend, and then we run through the entire DI slate, making picks along the way. Plus, a little break in the middle to talk some midseason All American decisions. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 126Brendan Nichtern Traded! Plus the Tuesday Top 20
Joe Spallina just refuses to quit making deals. After shipping Owen Grant to the Cannons for a top three pick, he acquired former Rookie of the Year Brendan Nichtern for a late round selection year. We break down the trade, and some of the other moves that have been made, as the Woods get their offense into gear. Then, the Tuesday Top 20. Some more movement and as we talk results, we look at a couple teams who suddenly look like they don't have a great tournament resume. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
