Shannon McGraw is a Mental Health Peer Support Specialist, author, speaker, and the founder of Hopeful Hearts Ministry (501c3). She discusses how her previous traumas impacted her and the defining moment when she recognized the need to take action to heal herself. Shannon has since written two books and completed her third to release at the end of May. She was CBS Houston's featured author and honored with the Family Time Women of Achievement Award for Women's Advocate in 2014. Don't let this fool you, though. It isn't all serious in this show.
