The star of An American in Paris and Singin' in the Rain leaves his dazzling footwork at the door for a pair of tense, well-calculated tails: "Thieves Fall Out" (originally aired on CBS on November 16, 1943) and "Death Went Along for the Ride" (originally aired on CBS on April 27, 1944).
