Snoke Mentioned The Rise of "Skywalker" and He Didn't Mean Luke - Star Wars Theory
In Star Wars The Force Awakens, Snoke reveals the title of the Last Jedi, as well as revealing that is Skywalker returns, the NEW Jedi will rise. This most likely indicates that Luke Skywalker is not the Jedi in Rise of Skywalker who will be the one to rise. I believe he insists on it being Kylo Ren (maybe Rey but doubtful).
