Lucasfilm Just CONFIRMED Palpatine is NOT Anakin's Father!
In the new canon Vader comics, we got a very interesting scene with Palpatine and Anakin's mother (Shmi) where we see him controlling the dark side of the force around her as Anakin is being created. This led MANY fans (including me) and articles to lean towards believing Lucasfilm had just revealed Anakin's father as Palpatine himself.

This led MANY fans (including me) and articles to lean towards believing Lucasfilm had just revealed Anakin's father as Palpatine himself.
This has led to many fans saying Rey and Kylo could be related in Rise of Skywalker. We now know, officially, that this is not the case.
