I have noticed from the Jedi Survivor live reaction video I did with the Star Wars community, that the lightsabers seem to have changed a bit in this new game following Jedi Fallen Order. The lightsabers seem to be longer in some scenes and unless this is a glitch or something (which I don't believe it to be so) I think Lucasfilm is following the old Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast style where you can change your lightsaber type/strength/length. Much like in Star Wars history, we actually get lightsabers with a knob which can change the blade length and power. I believe Qui-Gon Jinn used this very feature on his lightsaber in the phantom menace when he tried to get into Nut Gunray's quarters.
