Disney has finally made an official statement on The Acolyte, in my opinion the WORST Star Wars anything ever created. Disney says it is just too expensive to make another one, as they go on to spend over 650 million on Andor seasons 1 and 2. This is the most professional way of saying, it did not perform well, no one watched it, and we're not dumping money into another one. The Acolyte was worse than any show I have ever seen, and I'm happy it won't be renewed. I'm also happy that now we can put to rest all the horrible people who say everyone that didn't like it, is an ist and phobe. You can clearly see, Disney themselves deems the show not worth it. What a surprise...maybe we just don't like bad Star Wars...odd concept, I know... Hopefully we get some actual good Star Wars like The Mandalorian season 1 and 2 (not 3) and Tales of the Jedi (not Empire), going forwards with the Mandalorian Movie, and Ahsoka Season 2. Order 65, a contingency plan within the Republic's legal framework, authorized the Senate or the Supreme Commander, which in this case being, Chancellor Palpatine, to be removed from power if deemed unfit or treasonous. If this happened during the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Order 65 could have drastically altered the galaxy's fate. By exposing Palpatine's manipulation and his secret identity as Darth Sidious, the Jedi could have united the Republic’s forces, including the clone troopers, against him instead of being targeted by Order 66. This would have preserved the Jedi Order, potentially avoided the rise of the Empire, and allowed Anakin Skywalker to fulfill his role as the Chosen One without succumbing to the dark side. The survival of the Jedi would have meant a stronger, unified resistance against the Sith's influence, fundamentally changing the balance of power in the galaxy and preserving hope and peace for generations. The episode starts with the parents all getting together and worrying about their kids. The droid says the planet’s supervisor can’t do anything because they are in a starship that has illegally exited the barrier, and because it’s outside the barrier, they can’t do anything. As we pick back up with the kids, they escape the cell with Jude Law’s character, Jod Na Nawood who appears to be force sensitive. The kids think he’s a Jedi, however, and I don’t think he is. I think he just has the ability to use the force but never ever learned from any Jedi, just figured some stuff out by living his life with a stronger connection to the force, or he’s able to manipulate objects with some trick or device hidden in his sleeve. Satele Shan is a character I'm sure many Star Wars fans want to see. I also believe, beyond the story to be told, that it will put an end to those outlets pushing that anyone who dislikes a Star Wars project is because of sexism, when it's really just about poorly written characters like Rey or those in The Acolyte. Darth Vitiate needs to come into Star Wars. With declining interest amongst fans after poorly written/directed shows like The Acolyte, Kenobi, and Boba Fett, Disney is running out of characters to bring to the screens and in turn, put fans in seats at the next Star Wars movie. I feel Disney and Lucasfilm need to go to an era not yet told in live action, and discuss Sith Emperor Vitiate and his story in a trilogy of films or more. Dew it. Learn more about your ad choices. Leslye Headland created her own version of The Acolyte which didn't do very well overall, causing Disney to choose not to make a season 2 after it received the lowest finale views of any Disney Star Wars show. Even Plagueis and Yoda couldn't boost the show...Sadly. However... I believe if we got a show on Darth Zannah and Darth Bane, THE REAL ACOLYTE - fans would have wanted many more seasons.
