The Athletic's Ben Standig is talking about the Washington Commanders from West Palm Beach, Florida, the site of the annual NFL owners' meetings, with Michael Phillips (Richmond Tines-Dispatch).
At the top, Ben gives his overview of the scene as reporters walk the same halls inside the opulent Breakers resort as owners, general managers, coaches, the NFL commissioner and other league notables. There's also Washington football to discuss including Terry McLaurin's contract. the new middle linebacker plan and Dan Snyder's status.
Then Michael gets on the line (14:43) for a further breakdown of what Goodell said about Snyder's present and future. They also discussed Rivera's view of why he thinks players want to join Washington even though there's little proof of that based on the team's moves this offseason; the Colts continue to pile on Carson Wentz; plus a bunch of additional roster/team/scene notes.
