Show Notes
The Athletic's Ben Standig preps for the Washington Commanders' upcoming training camp with Washington Post columnist Jerry Brewer.
Ben opens the show with an assignment for Jason Wright, and a look back at Washington's contract negotiations with Terry McLaurin in light of scenarios involving the Nationals and Juan Soto, and the Wizards and Bradley Beal.
Then Jerry joins the chat to discuss the Commanders and his new column about how in this era of sports, loyalty is always up for sale (17:55). Ben eventually connects the discussion involving college sports, the LIV Tour and other current shifts to the Commanders fan base's frustration with Dan Snyder (48:05). From there the fellas dive into the team as Jerry sees a huge year for Terry McLaurin and needs to see lots more from others including Jamin Davis.
