Show Notes

Musa and Ryan begin with the story that rocked the NWSL: Paul Riley was fired by the North Carolina Courage after former players said that he sexually coerced them dating back to 2010, with NWSL commissioner Lisa Baird and general counsel Lisa Levine also leaving their posts (07:53). Then, it’s on to three special games this weekend, starting with an epic battle at Anfield between Liverpool and Manchester City (15:12), a vintage Atlético Madrid performance over Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitano (35:13), and Eintracht Frankfurt’s first win at Bayern in 21 years (51:58). There’s also a roundup of some other key results in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1, where Rennes halted PSG’s 100 percent start to the season with a 2-0 victory.
