The Northside Movement Center in Saint Louis, previously the Family Life Center for New Northside Missionary Baptist Church, has been transformed into a hub for ArchCity Defenders and Action Saint Louis. The thirty-six thousand square foot building, once a grocery store, now features a large kitchen, carpeted gym, meeting spaces, wellness areas, and restrooms. The center offers legal aid, organizing, and events, with plans to raise fifteen million dollars for maintenance and an endowment. The renovations cost seven million dollars, and the centers new purpose aligns with past uses for training and support.
