US Attorney Sayler Fleming is appointing two assistant US Attorneys to oversee election day activities. A 93-year-old woman is registering to vote for the first time in her life. There's typically no wait at all four locations to vote early in St. Clair County. If you 'smell that smoke' today, it's probably not a barbecue restaurant. Plans to raze the vacant Woods Mill shopping center to build condos get approved by Town & Country aldermen, with only one 'no' vote.
