Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s 1974 Declaration of was nothing less than an affirmation of the Catholic Faith. It has guided the work of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) for five decades and confirms above all that the SSPX is an apostolate of the Catholic Church that exists for her benefit and the good of all souls entrusted to her.
