S2 Ep 2Squirrels in Wonderland: Episode B - Accountability

Title: Squirrels in Wonderland: Episode B - Accountability [Opening Scene: Whimsical Forest Setting] [Soft, determined music begins. The camera follows a squirrel weaving through a forest trail. It occasionally pauses, glancing at a glowing path marked by faint paw prints—a nod to staying on track. Nearby, the whimsical Cheshire Cat appears, fading in and out of sight, as if guiding the squirrel forward.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'Welcome back to Squirrels in Wonderland, where every letter of the alphabet uncovers a new tool for navigating the twists and turns of life. Today’s letter is B... for Accountability.' [Scene Transition: The squirrel stops at a fork in the road, hesitating. The glowing paw prints illuminate one path, and the squirrel follows.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'Accountability is about following the right path—even when distractions beckon. In Wonderland, Alice had to trust the Cheshire Cat’s guidance to avoid getting lost. Like her, staying focused on your goals requires self-discipline and clarity.' [Cut to: The squirrel finding a stash of acorns. It carefully counts and organizes them into small piles, nodding with satisfaction.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'Achieving your goals starts with setting clear intentions and tracking your progress. Our squirrel knows the importance of keeping tabs on its stash. Without a system, how could it prepare for winter?' [Scene Transition: The squirrel encounters a group of mischievous birds scattering acorns. The squirrel pauses, adjusts its pile, and secures it safely in a hollow log.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'Distractions and challenges are inevitable. Accountability helps you stay grounded, ensuring that the time and energy you invest in your tasks lead to meaningful results.' [Cut to: The squirrel systematically gathering acorns, batching them by size and type. Nearby, another squirrel observes and follows suit.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'Productivity thrives on systems. Batching tasks—like gathering all your acorns at once—saves time and sets you up for success. Effective systems prepare you for future challenges, just as storing acorns ensures survival through winter.' [Scene Transition: The squirrel sits atop a branch, surveying its organized stash and the glowing paw prints leading toward the horizon.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'Accountability is your compass in Wonderland. It’s about being intentional with your actions, tracking your progress, and building systems that support your journey. When you hold yourself accountable, the path ahead becomes clearer.' [Closing Scene: The Cheshire Cat reappears, giving a sly grin before fading into the trees. The squirrel confidently hops down the path, tail flicking with determination.] Narrator (Voiceover): 'So, what’s your accountability system? How will you track your progress and stay on the right path? Join us next time as we explore the next letter in our adventure through Wonderland. Until then, keep moving forward—one step, one acorn, one goal at a time.' [Closing Text on Screen: 'Squirrels in Wonderland: A to Z with the Squirrel Wrangler™—Mindset, Strategy, and a World of Possibilities.' [Music fades out as the video ends.]

S2 Ep 1Squirrels in Wonderland: Episode A - Abundance

Title: Squirrels in Wonderland: Episode A - Abundance[Opening Scene: Whimsical Forest Setting] [Soft, upbeat music begins. The camera pans through a vibrant, magical forest. Gigantic mushrooms glow softly, vines sway gently in an imaginary breeze, and beams of sunlight illuminate scattered acorns hidden among the roots of towering trees. A curious squirrel appears, darting through the scene.]Narrator (Voiceover): "Welcome to Squirrels in Wonderland, where every letter of the alphabet leads us to a new adventure in mindset and strategy. Today, we begin with A... for Abundance.".......As you watched the whimsical journey of our adventurous squirrel, you may have wondered how to apply this abundance mindset in your own life. Let’s break it down further:Recognize Your Acorns: Every challenge you face contains an opportunity, much like the acorns hidden throughout the forest. Start a daily habit of identifying your "acorns"—the small opportunities that might be tucked away in your routine challenges.Collaboration Over Competition: Notice how the squirrels shared their paths and worked together? Collaboration often leads to greater rewards than going it alone. Seek out partners who share your vision and complement your strengths.Invest Strategically: The squirrel didn’t gather randomly; it was purposeful, investing its energy where it saw the most potential. Similarly, focus your time and resources on opportunities that align with your goals and values.Innovation Fuels Growth: Abundance doesn’t mean sticking to the same old path. Sometimes, you need to leap into uncharted territory. Think creatively about your challenges and explore innovative solutions.Take Action: To dive deeper into mastering this mindset, grab your free copy of the How to Wrangle a Squirrel Roadmap at stacybraiuca.com/roadmap or text ROADMAP to 866-393-4242.This guide will equip you with the tools to navigate distractions, uncover opportunities, and align your actions with your vision. S1 Ep 34Garden of Inner Peace

Imagine your life as a magical garden within a grand, interconnected forest. Each plant in your garden represents an aspect of your internal world—your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. If you nurture your plants with care, watering them with positivity and sunlight from hope, they grow vibrant and robust. These healthy plants emit a gorgeous fragrance that wafts through the forest, attracting beneficial creatures and resonating with the beauty of the outer world. Now, the grand forest surrounding your garden is the larger universe—or the macrocosm—that mirrors your inner garden, the microcosm. When you care for your inner garden, you're also contributing to the harmony of the forest. Conversely, if your garden is tangled with weeds of doubt and fear, that negative energy contributes to the disharmony in the forest, making it less inviting. Just as the tiniest seeds in your garden can grow into towering trees, even your smallest intentions and daily habits have enormous potential to reshape your world. A single effort to water a positive thought can lead to a cascade of external changes, just like how a nurturing gardener transforms a barren plot into a lush paradise. So, as you cultivate peace, love, and discipline within your personal garden, you'll find the grand forest around you becoming more peaceful, loving, and orderly in response. Thus, as above, so below; as within, so without. The way you tend to your inner world will always reflect in the world around you, intertwining both into a harmonious and flourishing whole. Find your inner peace when you break up with your anxiety. Schedule an anxiety busting session with the Squirrel Wrangler™, Stacy Braiuca today at https://stacybraiuca.com/book

S1 Ep 33The Purple Elephant Game

Sure, let's dive into a fun analogy to explain Stacy Braiuca's Purple Elephant Communication Technique: Imagine you and your friends are playing a high-stakes, fast-paced game of musical chairs. The music is blaring, everyone is laughing, but amidst the excitement, you start to feel overwhelmed. Maybe it's the noise, or perhaps the intensity of the game, but you notice your heart is racing and your thoughts are scattered. Now, let's introduce the concept of a 'Pause Button' in this game—enter the 'Purple Elephant.' Think of the Purple Elephant as a magical remote control that anyone can press to pause the game instantly. When someone calls out 'Purple Elephant,' all players stop moving, the music stops, and everyone takes a brief, calming break. During this pause, each person takes a moment to catch their breath, reflect, and calm their mind. The person who called the Purple Elephant then explains why they needed the break, applying 'I statements' like 'I was feeling overwhelmed by the noise and needed a moment to reset.' This pause gives everyone a chance to understand and respect each other’s boundaries, effectively preventing any stress or frustration from building up. After the explanation, everyone resumes the game, feeling more relaxed and in tune with each other's needs. In this way, the Purple Elephant acts like a magical tool that helps maintain harmony and understanding in the game of musical chairs, making it enjoyable and stress-free for everyone involved. It's a simple, yet powerful technique to ensure that all players feel heard and balanced, allowing them to continue the fun with a clear mind and a joyful heart. This analogy captures the essence of the Purple Elephant Technique in a playful and relatable manner, highlighting its importance in fostering better communication and emotional well-being in any group setting. S1 Ep 32Manifest the Best Party

Imagine you're about to throw a big party and you want it to be the best party ever. But before anything, you write a detailed guest list because you want to make sure all the right people get invited. In this analogy, your brain's reticular activating system (RAS) is similar to this guest list. It's like a bouncer outside the party, deciding who gets in and who doesn’t based on the names you’ve written down. When you consciously choose what to put on this list, you make sure the right 'party guests'—like positive thoughts, opportunities, and things you want to manifest—get into your mind, which is your party. This approach is like someone giving you a VIP list to help get your party started. The list starts with something simple and neutral, like inviting purple flowers, so you can see the proof for yourself without the stress of wondering if the most important guests will arrive. Once you see how easy it is for purple flowers to 'show up,' you're more confident in inviting more significant guests, like abundance, success, or love. By staying neutral and not stressing over each guest's arrival, you ensure that your RAS, or bouncer, lets in all the positive and desired guests to your party smoothly. Soon enough, your party, which is your manifestation journey, is filled with everything you wanted and more, making it the best party you could have ever imagined! S1 Ep 31The Dragon of Daily Tasks

Imagine you’re a knight in a medieval kingdom. Each morning, the kingdom’s council hands you a scroll containing your tasks for the day, written in elegant calligraphy. At the top of the scroll is an intimidating beast—the dragon. Your mission is clear but daunting: slay this dragon to save the kingdom. The dragon represents your biggest, most significant task—the one you tend to avoid but is crucial for your success. Now, if you start your day by facing off with this dragon and defeating it, the rest of your day feels like dealing with minor squabbles and mischievous goblins. But if you delay this encounter, the looming presence of the dragon makes every little task harder and fills your heart with trepidation. The key is to harness the courage of a knight—take a deep breath, draw your sword, and confront that dragon first thing in the morning. Just like the knight uses specific strategies and tools to slay the dragon, you can employ Brian Tracy’s methods to conquer your daily dragons. Define your goals clearly, pick your battles wisely, and eliminate distractions. Break the dragon into smaller pieces—like scaling down those fangs into manageable quests—and find your peak energy times to strike. Protect your focus as if it were your kingdom’s last fortress. Set deadlines, visualize your triumphant victory over the dragon, and reward yourself for every dragon you slay, no matter how big or small. In this way, eating your frog—conquering that dragon—sets you up for a day where you rule your kingdom (your tasks and goals) with confidence and prowess. By practicing this bravery daily, you build the discipline and focus of a legendary knight, ready to achieve the impossible. Are you ready to conquer your life? S1 Ep 30Quest for Habits

Imagine you are on a fun quest through a vast forest, and your ultimate goal is to reach a magical castle filled with treasures of personal growth. This quest represents your journey of building habits. Chapter One: Choose Your Companions First, you need to pick up to three loyal companions to join you on this quest—these companions are the most important habits you want to build. Let's say you choose Sir Write-a-Lot, Lady Read-a-Ton, and Captain Flex-i-Size. Chapter Two: Discovering the Paths Each companion offers various paths to take through the forest. These paths are your alternatives for each habit. For example, Sir Write-a-Lot offers the paths of drafting new stories, editing your manuscripts, or jotting down daily memories. Captain Flex-i-Size has you covered with options like woodland jogs, mountain hikes, and clearing fallen logs (a.k.a., core exercises). Chapter Three: Four Levels of Challenge For each path, there are four levels of challenge: Show up, Easy, Medium, and Hard. The Show Up level is simply making an appearance—think of checking in at a campfire for warmth. The Easy level might involve a simpler task, like telling a short folk tale. Medium is a bit tougher, perhaps narrating a thrilling chapter. Hard means recounting the entire saga under the stars! Captain Flex-i-Size might have you lift a twig in the Show-Up challenge, a branch in the Easy, a log in the Medium, and an entire tree trunk in Hard (okay, maybe not a whole tree trunk). Chapter Four: Tracking Progress on Your Map Tracking your journey requires a magical map (or habit tracker). If you take a path and just show up, mark it with a red 'X'. If you complete the Easy challenge, add one dot under the 'X'. Two dots mean you've tackled the Medium level path, and three dots signal you conquered the Hard path. Chapter Five: Earning Your Knightly Scores The scoring system turns this quest into a thrilling game. Each level of challenge comes with points: Show-Up earns 1 point, Easy garners 2, Medium scores 3, and Hard nets you 4 points. Stay vigilant and show up every day for forty days, and you earn a special endurance bonus of 40 points! Chapter Six: Stefan’s Scroll A wise sage named Stefan Guise once embarked on a similar quest and detailed his adventures in a scroll known as 'Elastic Habits'. While The Squirrel Wrangler’s guide has a few customizations, the essence remains the same to help you have more fun on your journey. By making your habit-building process as engaging and flexible as this fun, forest quest, you’ll be less likely to stray from your path and more likely to reach that magical castle of personal growth and achievement. S1 Ep 29The Treasure Map of Success

Let's imagine the process of accomplishing anything as a treasure hunt: The Treasure Hunt Analogy: How to Accomplish Anything Imagine you’re setting out on an epic treasure hunt. The treasure? Your ultimate goal or dream project. But like any good adventurer, you need a map and a system to get there, not just blind luck. The Treasure Map (Your Broad Overview and Blueprint) You start by drawing a big treasure map. This map shows the broad overview of your objective, like finding the hidden treasure. It’s not detailed yet, just the major landmarks you need to hit along your journey. The Reason for the Hunt (Your Why) To the left of this map, you jot down why you’re hunting for the treasure. Maybe it's for glory, maybe to prove something to yourself, or perhaps to help others. This 'why' keeps you motivated when the journey gets tough. The Little Notebook (Your Capture System) Now, you have a little pocket notebook. This notebook is like your personal logbook or journal. As you travel, you capture everything in it: clues you find, advice from wise villagers (inspirational quotes), challenges to tackle (tasks), and random musings. Everything goes in here in a chaotic but comprehensive way. The Big Notebook (Your Strategy and Blueprint) Periodically, you sit down with a bigger notebook, your strategy guide. You take the clues and notes from your little notebook and organize them in this big one. This helps you build a more detailed and actionable map. You can visualize how each step leads you closer to the treasure. Breaking Down Steps (Smaller Tasks) Next, you break down your path to the treasure into smaller, manageable steps: Mark smaller landmarks like 'cross the river' or 'climb the mountain'. Jot down specific actions like 'build a bridge' or 'find the climbing gear'. Ensure you're precise and clear about each task. The Periodic Review (Staying on Track) At the end of each day, you review your progress in the local tavern, sipping on a warm drink. Mark tasks you've completed and plan the next day’s journey. This keeps you always on track, knowing exactly what to do next. Action and Adaptation (Executing the Plan) Finally, armed with your organized map and actionable steps, you take the next crucial part: actually adventuring out and following the plan. It’s all about making sure every step you take is towards finding that treasure. No System Solves Everything (The Adventurer’s Spirit) Lastly, remember, no map or notebook can substitute for the adventurer’s spirit. You have to put in the work, adapt to surprises, and keep moving forward. The system guides your way, but it’s you who walks the path. With this simple but effective treasure hunting system, you can approach any goal, big or small, with clarity, focus, and a well-organized plan. Happy hunting! S1 Ep 25Blooming Boundaries

Imagine you’re a gardener tending to a beautiful, delicate flower garden. In the beginning, the fence around your garden is made of soft, flexible material. While it looks nice and inviting, it doesn’t keep out curious critters or harsh weather. Over time, the flowers begin to wilt and lose their vibrancy, and you find yourself working tirelessly to mend the damage. One day, you decide to replace the soft fence with a sturdier, more solid one. At first glance, it seems much stronger and perhaps a little less inviting, but soon you notice a change. The flowers begin to thrive, protected from harm. You don’t have to work as hard to maintain the garden, and you can finally enjoy the beauty and serenity you’ve created. By building stronger boundaries, you’ve given your garden (and yourself) the chance to grow and flourish—allowing you to be kinder and more nurturing to both your garden and yourself. S1 Ep 24Navigating Emotional Waves

Imagine you’re a captain of a ship sailing through the ocean. Your clients are your passengers, each with their own destinations and concerns. During the voyage, sometimes turbulent waves of emotions crash against your ship, threatening to steer you off course. These are your own emotions bubbling up from the depths. However, as a seasoned captain, it’s crucial to recognize these waves and mark them on your map to navigate later. If you ignore them or attempt to steer through them immediately, the ship might veer wildly and put your passengers in peril. Instead, keep your focus on guiding your ship safely to its destination, ensuring your passengers (your clients) feel secure and supported. Once you’ve docked or reached calmer waters, then you can go back and address those rough waves you marked on your map. This way, you maintain the stability and safety of your voyage, ensuring that your clients receive the smooth passage they need. S1 Ep 23Journey of the Sky Captain

Imagine you are the captain of a hot air balloon, and you’re eager to take off on a fantastic journey. But before you can soar into the sky, there are a few crucial steps you need to take: Accepting Responsibility: First, you need to recognize that the balloon won't lift off unless you make it happen. You are the captain, and it’s your responsibility to initiate the change. Releasing Weights: Your balloon basket is filled with heavy sandbags, which represent your negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and emotional baggage. Each sandbag must be identified and tossed overboard. Some of these bags might not even be yours—they could be other people's worries or just plain nonsense. Sorting through these and getting rid of them is essential. Setting a Course: Now that your balloon is light and free, it's time to chart your course. Decide on a specific, exciting destination for your journey. The sky is no limit; you have the entire universe to explore! But be clear about where you want to go. Taking Action: With your destination set, it’s time to ignite the flame and take action. As you rise, make sure to maintain good boundaries (steer clear of thunderstorms!) to ensure you stay on track. Focus and Boundaries: As you navigate, keep focused on your journey and maintain boundaries to avoid distractions. With the weights gone and a clear path ahead, you can go anywhere! By following these steps, you – the captain – can pilot your hot air balloon to new heights, achieving your dreams with clarity and purpose.

S1 Ep 22Blooming Mindset

Imagine you’re a (female) gardener who looks at a plot of dry, barren land. Each time you visit the plot, you think to yourself, 'This land will never produce any flowers. I can't grow anything here.' This mindset makes you walk away, resigned to the barrenness. Now, let’s change that thought. Instead of saying, 'I can’t grow anything here,' you start asking, 'What would I need to do to make flowers grow here?' You research soil types, find the right seeds, water regularly, and adjust sunlight exposure. Slowly but surely, the once lifeless plot begins to flourish with vibrant blooms. Similarly, changing your mindset from 'I can’t' to 'What would I need to do so that I can?' cultivates an environment ripe for growth and opportunities, turning barren thoughts into fields of optimism and success.

S1 Ep 21Squirrel Wrangling 101: Self Care for Squirrels

Imagine you're in a bustling forest, filled with energetic squirrels darting in all directions. Each squirrel represents a different tech task vying for your attention. Some squirrels look cute and inviting, while others seem frustratingly elusive, like the tasks you enjoy and the ones that drive you nuts. Now, think of yourself as a squirrel wrangler. If you try chasing all the squirrels at once, you'll wear yourself out and never catch a single one. This is tech overwhelm. To get control, you need a strategy and some self-care. Stacy's advice is like having a picnic basket in this forest. Every hour, you need to set down the squirrels and take a 5-minute break to enjoy a snack from your basket. Set a timer (maybe your trusty picnic blanket clock or your forest friend, the wise owl, who reminds you to pause). During this break, you might stretch, sip some refreshing forest juice, or simply relax under a cozy tree. By following this picnic schedule, you keep your energy up and avoid getting lost in the frenzy. You can create a little menu of activities for your breaks to keep them interesting, like spotting cloud shapes or listening to the birds. So, come to the forest summit to learn more from the expert squirrel wrangler, Stacy. She'll teach you how to make your picnics even more delightful and how to manage those squirrels without losing your mind. And who knows, you might just learn a thing or two that can save you time and make your forest adventures more fun!Break up with your Anxiety and book a free anxiety busting session with me at stacybraiuca.com/book

S1 Ep 20Garden to the Ballroom

Imagine you're at a magical castle with two distinct areas: the Enchanted Garden and the Crystal Ballroom. Entering through the Enchanted Garden is like starting therapy. Here, you explore the roots of the magical trees, dig through the soil to find and heal hidden hurt, and nurture the plants to blossom into beautiful flowers. This garden represents your past, with its histories and traumas. As a therapist, you help your client tend to this garden, ensuring it grows healthily and beautifully. Now, picture a one-way garden gate that leads from the Enchanted Garden to the Crystal Ballroom. This gate represents the transition from therapy to coaching. Once the garden is looking lush and vibrant, you can move through the gate into the Crystal Ballroom. In the bright and dazzling Crystal Ballroom, where coaching happens, you're focused on dancing gracefully and forward-looking aspirations. You use the rhythm and music of the past to guide your present steps and future moves. The ballroom is all about the here and now, and getting ready for all the grand dances life has in store. Even if you're an expert gardener and a trained dancer, if your client enters the Crystal Ballroom first, you only help them dance. You can catch a glimpse of the Enchanted Garden through the crystal-clear walls, using what you see to inform your guidance, but you don't step back there to dig through the soil. S1 Ep 19Journey of the Dreamer

Imagine yourself standing under the sprawling canopy of the Enchanted Tree, its ancient limbs adorned with twinkling lights that mimic constellations. A whisper of wind carries the scent of possibility, as if the tree itself is alive with stories yet to unfold. From the tree's hollow, a soft glow emanates—a letter, its edges shimmering as if kissed by starlight, emerges and floats gently into your hand. The letter reads, 'Welcome, Dreamer. You are invited to traverse the Garden Labyrinth and uncover the treasures hidden within your own soul.' This is no ordinary journey. It is a quest where the map is etched in the fabric of your memories, the path illuminated by the lantern of your intuition, and your guide? None other than the Squirrel Wrangler, a keeper of stories, a weaver of wisdom, and a guardian of transformation. As you approach a magical coach waiting at the edge of the meadow, its sides polished like mirrors reflecting not the world outside but the many faces of your inner self, you sense a stirring of excitement. The coach, drawn by sleek, silvery squirrels (each one a reflection of a different aspect of your being—curiosity, courage, and even caution), invites you to climb aboard. Inside, the seats are plush with comfort, and the air hums with anticipation. The journey unfolds not across miles but through the realms of your own mind. The coach glides past landscapes that shift and shimmer—first, a peaceful grove, representing your cherished memories; then a bustling market, echoing the cacophony of your daily thoughts; and finally, a shadowy forest, symbolizing the fears and doubts you’ve long avoided. Through it all, the Squirrel Wrangler sits beside you, gently pointing out patterns in the chaos, like constellations in the night sky. At last, you arrive at the Garden Labyrinth, its entrance marked by an intricate gate carved with symbols of dreams, challenges, and growth. As you step through, you find yourself in front of the grand, multi-paneled door. Each panel radiates a unique energy: the green of healing, the gold of wisdom, the blue of clarity. When you choose a door, it opens to a realm teeming with the lessons you need most. The library is filled with books authored by your past selves, each one holding the dreams you once had and the strengths you’ve forgotten. The laboratory is alive with experiments of the soul—each potion a chance to transform pain into understanding. The art gallery brims with the colors of your creativity, reminding you of the beauty you carry within. Finally, as you weave through these spaces and gather their gifts, you find yourself in the Hall of Reflections, where a grand mirror stands before you. The Squirrel Wrangler steps beside you, holding up a golden thread. 'This is the thread of your story,' they say. 'It binds your past to your future, your trials to your triumphs. Weave it into the tapestry of who you are becoming.' When the journey draws to a close, you return to the Enchanted Tree, your hands filled with treasures no gold could match: resilience, self-compassion, and the clarity of knowing your worth. The coach departs, but the Squirrel Wrangler remains, a watchful presence in the meadow, ready to guide you whenever you choose to return. For now, as the glow of dawn kisses the horizon, you step back into your world—empowered, transformed, and ready to live as the hero of your own wondrous tale.

S1 Ep 17The Squirrel Quadrant: Finding Life's Balance

Today's podcast is something a little different. This is a story I composed a few months ago, and I think it fits for future planning. November is a great time to start reflecting on our past year and plan for the next one, so we have all of our nuts stored in a row, as it were. So, I present to you, The Squirrel Quadrant: An Approach to Finding Life’s Balance. Imagine your life is like a bustling park, full of activities, commitments, and occasional disruptions – just like how a park has visitors, trees, and, of course, squirrels. Now, think of yourself as one of those intelligent, adaptable squirrels. Each day, you navigate your park, balancing various nuts (tasks and responsibilities), acorns (long-term goals), and seeds (short moments of joy). 1. The Present Nut: As a squirrel, your most valuable nuts are the ones you hold today. Just like The Squirrel Wrangler's squirrels gently take peanuts from her hand, focusing on the present moment means savoring what you have right now, instead of always darting off to find the next nut. This allows you to truly enjoy and appreciate the moment, finding joy in what might seem like small successes—which, in the grand scheme, are quite fulfilling. 2. The Past Acorn: Occasionally, you'll come across an acorn planted long ago (a lesson from past experiences). It's important to recognize these acorns not for the regret of missing them earlier but for the nutrients and wisdom they provide now. Look back occasionally to learn but don't let those acorns pull you away from the nuts in front of you. 3. The Future Seed: You're also planting seeds for future oak trees (your long-term goals and dreams). While it's important to scatter these seeds with hope and optimism, remember, you can't predict exactly when and how they'll grow. Keeping ourselves from being in the throws and perils of constant change is also a possible pitfall of not living in the moment, so don’t get so caught up in your future grove of oaks that you fail to enjoy the current bounty of nuts. 4. The Savoring Tree: Finally, find time to climb up the savoring tree and rest on a branch for a moment. From this vantage point, you see your entire park—the present nuts, past acorns, and future seeds—and you realize the importance of balance and perspective. As squirrels helping each other—a concept of support and mentorship—you learn and teach while navigating the park together. Life can become an enjoyable, fulfilling playground when you balance your efforts. Like the gentle and trusting squirrels the Squirrel Wrangler feeds from her hand, approach life with a good balance of delight in the present, lessons from the past, and hope for the future. Plant your seeds, gather your nuts, learn from your acorns, and always make time to visit the savoring tree. In this analogy, the park represents the complexity of our lives, while the nuts, acorns, and seeds symbolize our focus on present actions, past lessons, and future goals. The savoring tree embodies that essential pause for reflection and balance. S1 Ep 16Laughter and Tears

On Thursday mornings at 9 AM CST, I have coffee online, virtually, with new friends, old friends, sometimes people I've never met, sometimes people I've even met in person. And the subject matter is different every week. We simply often call this event 'coffee', original, right? We meet at a place called quantum quaff dot com, and every week, it's different. This week in coffee, we had such a good time, which happens a lot. It reminded me that Creator gave us 2 really important medicines, laughter and tears. They are really 2 of the best medicines there are. And we really do need both. Though we might not wanna be crying frequently, sometimes it is the medicine we need. But I digress. This morning in coffee, literally, there were 4 of us, some on camera, some not on camera, some drinking coffee, some maybe drinking whiskey, and we were laughing until we cried. It's even possible that one or all of us might have been close to peeing our pants. We were laughing that hard. I want to thank Artemis, Shadows, and Brendaliz for my medicine of the day! And it just reminded me that daily, we need at least one of those medicines. We need the laughter. Just think, if we can have daily laughter so much so that we cry at the same time, we're getting double the medicine. That helps us get closer to joy. And the reason we're on this planet is for joy. I'd love it if you left a message in the comments of the last time that you laughed so hard that you cried and you really enjoyed it. If there's a story you can share, share that, if you can't share the story, share the fact that it happened and maybe the last time you did it so that you can reflect and think of how long it's been since you laughed until you cried? Because maybe you need to do that again. Also, I'd love to invite everyone to come to coffee with me. See if we can make you laugh until you cry, or at least have a connected time and meet new people. Find out more at stacybraiuca.com/events, sign up for coffee, and come join us. I'll leave Artemis, Shadows, and Brendaliz's links in the show notes as well. It's free. It's fun, and sometimes it's so hilarious that you laugh until you cry. See you tomorrow. S1 Ep 15Stretch or Stuck

Happy Wednesday. Today's subject is stretching. Do you allow yourself to stretch and try new things, even little things like a new spice on food or checking out a different news source? My friend RJ describes life as a series of experiments, especially for business owners. When I say experiment, I mean a planned experiment. You find information, set up a few things, try it, and build as you go. This applies to life choices and behaviors as much as it does to entrepreneurship. Both can be scary, but stretching is crucial because if you don't stretch, you get stuck. Think about stretching your muscles. Stretching helps your muscles understand different ways of being. I'm not a physiotherapist, but stretching muscles seems to pull and release chemicals into our bodies, signaling for more protein to build stronger muscles. If you're a physical therapist or physician, I'd love your feedback to explain this better because I'm sure I butchered the idea! When we stretch our conscious and unconscious minds, we can introduce new ideas. Remember defragmenting a computer? You cleaned files out and ran a process to rearrange and sort them, clearing the dust out of corners. I see this as stretching the memory space of your mind. As we stretch our minds, we uncover negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and baggage. We must pull out these negative things while keeping the lessons, just like keeping good files and throwing away bad ones. Afterward, everything has to rearrange, like a 500-piece puzzle falling into place. I've used many analogies and visual metaphors today, but the core takeaway is the importance of stretching your mind, behaviors, and self to avoid getting stuck. When you stop moving and stretching, you get stuck, making it harder and more painful to move next time. Growth and movement are sometimes necessary for survival, and if you haven't stretched in the meantime, it will hurt more. If you have medical or physical therapy knowledge, please share insights on the muscle aspect. Follow me on the podcast and visit https://stacybraiuca.com/connect for more information on how to connect with me. Let's work on stretching, growing, and clearing out old baggage together. Have a great Wednesday.

S1 Ep 14Little Sparks of Humanity

Welcome to today's podcast. Today, as the squirrel wrangler, I'm thinking of things that the little things. Not the distractions that you would think that a squirrel might be or see. Not the shiny objects, but the other little things. The little things that we do for each other, sometimes on a whim, sometimes planned, sometimes well thought out and intricately put together. Sometimes just okay. Maybe it is a shiny object that you discover. Or you're driving along and you realize that you need to take a detour. And when you take the detour, you realize you're next to a restaurant that one of your loved ones has some favorite things. And because that loved one is somebody special to you and you just wanna let them know that you're thinking of them, you stop and buy some goodies for them. And just those little things of being able to give someone something of a surprise just because you love them is sometimes a gift to your own heart and your connections with other humans and connections with the universe. So what is a shiny object or a fun little fact or a fun, something that you spend time to put together for for a friend or loved one in your life. Moreover than that, when was the last time you did that? If you can't remember the last time you did it, what's something you can do? Is it for a friend? A neighbor? Maybe, an elderly person who's near you that you don't even know well, but would appreciate maybe even just a hello or taking them a cup of coffee and saying, hey, I'm thinking of you. I think those human connections, those tiny human connections are what They're like little energy sparks that keep our humanity alive. And as long as we keep our humanity alive, I think we can keep anything alive. Those little sparks of humanity are also like little sparks of hope and joy and goodness. And given that we don't ever know what our tomorrow is, it's important to live in that tiny moment today, where you're thinking of someone else or doing something for them. Anyway, those are the little squirrel Wrangler thoughts for the day, and I hope you're having an amazing Tuesday.

S1 Ep 13Gratitude to Our Heroes

My podcast for today is to literally say thank you to those who have served in the military and who have protected the freedoms that I was born with. Without saying how old I am, just know that I was born with the freedom of religion, the freedom to vote, the freedom to bear arms, the freedom to be both an American citizen and a citizen of an Indigenous nation inside the United States, and as an indigenous person also have the right to vote and have the right to be a citizen of the United States, which didn't happen until after women were allowed the right to vote. My gratitude is to all of those who have served. I see you as some of the bravest, courageous human beings on the planet because you were willing to make the promise to give everything up to and including your very lives, and many of you did, so that I could have the freedoms I was born with. And anyone who describes you as anything other than brave, strong, selfless, patriots with full love of country and a devotion to the Constitution to the country and not to any one human being, but to all human beings and human rights anyone who says other than that I would say they don't deserve the rights, but then again, it's because we all deserve those rights. So everyone deserves the rights, but if they say that about you, I feel really sad that they don't understand the full value of the freedom and the rights human rights that you have all sacrificed many things for, not just your lives, but also many of you sacrificed even being told a simple thank you or an appropriate welcome home when you've been somewhere else in the world fighting for freedom. But know this, the Squirrel Wrangler thanks you from the bottom of her heart. And I pray that you are having an amazing day in the sunshine with the wind on your face and knowledge in your heart that there are those who really, really appreciate you.

S1 Ep 12Seek Feel Grow Forgive Heal

Sorry this is published on Monday, tech glitches caused Sunday to weave into Monday! But, Welcome to Sunday's Squirrel Wrangler's Thoughts: So I'm doing some reading today and the site that I'm reading advises us to seek, feel, grow, forget, and heal for moving ahead in life. And in looking back at this last week, what is it? I think we saw some things that people were seeking, and not just one side or two sides, but multiple multiple seekings. Everyone is seeking something different. We certainly have multiple and very heightened feelings. I think the next stages are when we get into growing and then forgetting and healing. I'm not sure if those are in that order. I'm gonna say that we are instead of forgetting, we're forgiving. We're growing so that we can forgive, and then we're forgiving so that we can put something into the past. Not necessarily forgetting, but forgiving so that it can go into the past. And we can learn lessons from each other in that forgiving. And then heal so that we can all move ahead. Because overall, the world is a series and a unique combination of balances. Left and right, up and down, forward and backward, hot and cold. And it's the interlocking of all of our patterns and all of our behaviors and all of our differences that cause us to be able to have a balanced world. That's not to say that we have to have as much evil in the world as we have good. It's that the things that we do that are good balance out the things that each of us do that might be not so good. I don't think that we absolutely have to have evil, But I do think the world is inherently still good, and that we inherently have to have the good to make it through this life. Because if we don't have the good, we don't have hope, and if we don't have hope, we don't have survival. And that's not just as individuals, but as an entire planet. Anyway, those are the Squirrel Wrangler thoughts of the day. I hope you have an amazing rest of your day and I will find some thoughts for you for tomorrow. Keywords from today: seeking, feelings, growing, forgiving, healing, moving ahead, balancing, good vs evil, patterns, behaviors, differences, balanced world, interlocking patterns, combination of balances, multiple seekings, heightened feelings, life lessons, past forgiveness, hope, survival, inherent good, planet, unique combination, personal growth, looking back, evil, good, positive actions, social dynamics, hope for survival, Squirrel Wrangler thoughts

If you don't already know, I'm participating in the National Podcast Post Month, otherwise known as Na Pod Po Mo. Part of that podcast promotion includes a mega feed of other podcasters. Today, I was finally able to jump into the mega feed of the National Podcast Post Month and I found an amazing little tidbit by a gentleman named David Beckemeyer. I will put the link to his episode I listened to in the show notes. His podcast is 'Outrage Science Bites,' and today's episode was about extremism and outrage, how outrage leads to radicalization. It's coming from the scientific perspective of how our emotions can impact our ability to see clearly and how to then deal with that carefully so that you don't end up in a more radical scenario than you might be already. This lines up with the things I've been speaking about, but maybe in a slightly different way. I really liked how his episode discussed how black and white thinking and an us versus them mentality can lead to additional radicalization of our thoughts versus the better, and I will call it healthier, reaction to listen to each other and to hold space for each other no matter what our ideological perspective is. Especially those who may hold different beliefs or hold their beliefs differently than us. The more we listen and open ourselves up to those, not that it means that we're going to change our beliefs, because that's not necessarily what it's about. It's about being able to understand how multiple people hold different beliefs and us being able to take the best of what we might view in someone else's beliefs and integrate it into our own after using critical thinking about our own beliefs, where we are with our beliefs, where they are with their beliefs, and how we can maybe come together to live differently all the way around. That's my quick bite for today. For one, check out National Podcast Post Month, otherwise known as Na Pod Po Mo, and look at the mega feed. I'll put the link to the mega feed and the link to David's podcast in the show notes. I look forward to speaking to you tomorrow.

S1 Ep 11Finding Neutral Ground

So more on the getting to neutral thing. As a society so, you know, I talked about ways we could get to new getting to neutral for ourselves as individuals. But I think the bigger picture is getting to neutral as society so that such that we do no harm like our discussion the other day. And I think there's many ways we can get to neutral. Number 1, we have to get to neutral individually first. Because if you're not in neutral yourself, you are gonna come at somebody either excited about something they're depressed about or you're gonna come at them mad about something that they're happy about or mad about something that they don't understand. And none of those things are helpful. They're not helpful to us as individuals. They're not helpful to us as society. They're not helpful for the energy we bring each other. And so I think the getting to neutral is vital for us as individuals such that we can then approach others and be in one place together and get to neutral together. Because if we get to neutral together, number 1, we're doing no harm to each other. And number 2, we are when we're at neutral, we can easily more easily find the things that we have as similarities. And when we find the similarities, we have connection. And when we have connection with those that we've lost connection with or that we feel we didn't have connection with because we disagree on controversial topics, then that's the beginning of healing as a society. So what can you do to get yourself to neutral? And then what do you do next to reach out to someone else who maybe you disagree with or you know you've disagreed with in the past and find something you can do together that is neutral and that you can get to not only neutral, but similarities and joy again together and heal your connections as humans.

S1 Ep 10Journey to Neutral

Welcome to Friday and another podcast, or as I saw someone describe my podcast, a micro podcast, and I love that because anyone who knew me before this knows that micro and short podcasts are definitely not my usual, but I digress. So as we get ready for the weekend, where I still will be putting out micro podcasts, I am re-listening to an audiobook called 'Getting to Neutral.' It was recommended by a dear friend, and it was recommended to me several weeks ago. But in the context of this week, end of November 7 or well, I'm sorry, November 8th where we are today, getting to neutral, I think, is a great way for society's groups of people, small groups of people, relationships, and individuals can come to the same place even or a similar place given that we each think differently. So the concept of the book is not that there is that neutral is the only place to be. It is that, one of the quotes is that we can all agree that negative is a bad place to be. And being negative towards each other, being negative towards ourselves, being negative in our own thinking, all put us into a negative spiral. And it puts us in a negative spiral individually. It puts us in a negative spiral in relationships. It puts us in a negative spiral as a society. So what do we do to get out of negative and work towards positive, towards joy, which is kind of in my theme of the week. Working towards joy isn't just going from negative to positive because sometimes you can't just get straight to positive. Sometimes you have to stop at neutral and ground yourself. You have to stop at neutral and be in that neutral space so that the negative doesn't hurt you. And maybe because you haven't found something to be joyful or positive about. And so if you can't find something to be positive or joyful about, but you also don't want the pain and don't want to continue the negativity that a negative negative thinking puts you into the negative spiral, that was a mouthful, then sometimes getting to neutral is the best thing. And so that got me thinking about how do we get to neutral. And I think it's still some of the things that I described yesterday and the day before of looking around and finding things to be joyful for. But let's take it to neutral before we get to joy. What are some things you can do to get to neutral? And I've been speaking to several people over the last couple days, and one of the things that comes up frequently is going out and being in nature because nature doesn't hate. It can be dangerous, but nature in and of itself does not hate. Nature for the most part can give us neutral. Going out and finding a good place, you know, that's safe to lay down a blanket on the ground and be, you know, connect yourself with the ground to, lay down in a hammock and watch the stars at night. The stars, unless that asteroid hits, aren't hurting us. The stars can be inspirational. They can be beautiful. The colors in the sky can be inspirational and beautiful. So that's one idea. Going for a walk, which takes your body to neutral, it gets energy out and it gives you the opportunity to also just kind of lose yourself in your thinking and meditate. So I leave you today with how are you going to get to neutral? What are the ways that you think you can do so that you can get yourself to neutral? Happy Friday, and I'll talk to you soon.

S1 Ep 9Do No Harm

Hello. For today’s podcast, I want to share insights from a recent meeting with a colleague. It was a profound experience that highlighted how two people with differing views could still maintain a relationship built on respect, honor, and dignity. Despite discussing topics that could typically inflame others, we managed to respect each other’s differing views and focus on the core issue. This scenario has broader implications. Imagine if everyone could recognize that each person holds a unique worldview without labeling anyone as right or wrong. If we could discard notions of right and wrong and instead assess if our behavior harms another human being, our interactions would change dramatically. The guiding principle should be to do no harm to others. If we truly examined our thoughts, beliefs, and behavior choices to ensure they didn’t harm others, the outcomes of our collective actions would improve. While this may seem idealistic and hard to achieve given the world's population, it’s a goal worth striving for. It’s unfortunate that it might take a catastrophic event, like an asteroid heading toward Earth, to unite us in this common cause. But do we really have to wait for such an event? Applying the rule of not harming each other could potentially save humanity. This principle also includes not harming ourselves. For example, if I choose not to harm someone else but end up harming myself, I need to reconsider my behavior. This doesn't mean avoiding inconvenience or hard choices; it means ensuring our actions don't cause undue harm. Even large corporations need to evaluate their practices: making millions by harming others is unacceptable. No one on this planet has the right to harm another individual. Our shared right is to love and treat each other with respect, dignity, and honor. I extend a heartfelt thank you to my friend who participated in the meeting and agreed to let me base this podcast on our discussion. In the future, I may reveal more about them, and we might even co-host a podcast to demonstrate how respectful, honorable, and dignified discussions on controversial topics can happen without harming one another. I’m grateful to have friends with whom I can engage in these meaningful conversations. I appreciate you, my friend, for your respect and dignity during our discussions. And to all my listeners, thank you for joining me today. I’ll see you all tomorrow.

S1 Ep 8Savoring Joy

Host: Stacy BraiucaEpisode: SqWr Podcast Ep8So how do you bring yourself out of negativity and back to joy? It's not an easy thing. It's incredibly possible. Even with your 8,200,000,000 -one support group, sometimes we're alone in our feelings and we need to bring ourselves back up. One of the ways to do that is to look around the room around you and find 5 things that bring you joy. Is it your morning cup of coffee? Is it the fact that you have a roof over your head? Is it the fact that you have warm blankets on on a cold fall morning? Or is it just the fact that you're alive today? That should be enough to bring your joy that you are alive and may not have major health issues. And, you know, thinking on that piece, even if you have major health issues, what are the pieces that are good? Do you have support around you for that? Do you have good healthcare providers? Are you taking actions every day to be a better or more you you than the day before? Sometimes it's the little bitty things that you have to start with. And sit with those. Sit with your cup of coffee and enjoy the flavor.Enjoy the taste. Enjoy the fact that you had coffee to put in the machine. You have to start with the little things and you have to sit with them and savor them. I think savoring joy is probably today's theme. So what are you doing today to savor a piece of joy? To help you stay in the positive or to help you go from negative to positive to raise your feelings of being joyful. I'll see you tomorrow.

S1 Ep 7Path to Joy

Yes. Yes, it is. It's possible to bring ourselves out of negativity and back to joy. The way I know this is that if we couldn't do that with as many of us who live in different levels of negativity the whole world would live in a dungeon in negativity if we couldn't bring each other back to joy. The fact that we are all at different places in our lives at different moments and the fact that we observe the world differently. At any given time, there are 8,200,000,000 people on the planet. And at any given time, there are 8,200,000,000 ways of looking at things. Which means there are at least 8,200,000,000 ways of getting ourselves out of negativity and into joy. Or would it be 8,200,000,000 minus 1? Because if we're in negativity, we need those 8,200,000,000 minus 1 other people to help bring us out of joy or out of negativity. And what that means in a nutshell, since we're talking squirrel wrangling, the nutshell of that is that we need each other. And that we need each other to come out of places of darkness and into places of light by supporting, loving, and respecting each other. And on today, November 5, 2024, in the United States of America, that is a really important message. I hope everyone has an amazing day and come back tomorrow for some more squirrel wrangling.

S1 Ep 6Momentum of Joy

Today's podcast is gonna build on yesterday and build on us playing that game of hot and cold when seeking our GPS that we talked about yesterday. So let's flash forward and say that we have made a habit of listening to that GPS and of going in the direction that we find joy. And we are making that such an incredible habit that we find joy every single day. And one day, we sit and realize that we aren't finding the joy without it being automatic. In other words, we're finding joy, but we're not even thinking about the fact that we're finding joy. We're just finding it all the time. And it's not because we're making ourselves, it's because we are. We are joy. We've become one with joy. And that in and of itself is a different realization. It's a realization that the momentum of the habit is moving us forward. And here's kind of what I mean by that because no matter what habit we're talking about, the momentum of that habit is going to keep us moving in the direction of that habit. In physics, scientific terms, an object in motion tends to stay in motion and an object that's in motion in one direction is probably going to stay in motion in that direction. So what if the direction you're moving is finding the negative every day? If you're finding negative and the next day you find more negative and the next day lo and behold you find even more of the negative stuff, then you have put yourself in motion to constantly be going in the negative direction. And when that happens it makes it even harder to come back to the positive direction, Or does it? Can you move back to the positive direction when you have built yourself the momentum and the habit of going in a negative direction? That's the question I'm going to leave you with and hopefully we will continue to answer tomorrow.

S1 Ep 5The Joyful Library Quest

Imagine you're in a grand library filled with countless books. Some books are beautifully illustrated and bring you immense joy, while others are dull and filled with monotonous text. Your job is to find those delightful books that make your heart sing, but there's a twist: you're wearing a blindfold. Now, this library is magical, and it comes with a special guide—your emotional GPS. Every time you get closer to a book that brings you joy, the GPS says, "hotter, hotter," and if you move away, it says, "colder, colder."The key is to trust this guide. When it tells you "hotter" as you approach a colorful, joyful book, listen to it. But often, we might ignore it, thinking we need to be more serious and focus on the dense, boring books, even if they're making us feel cold inside. In life, our emotional GPS helps us navigate toward the things that bring us joy and fulfillment, much like finding those beautiful books in the library. The more we pay attention to it, the more we fill our lives with happiness and purpose. So, will you follow your guide and discover the joyful books hidden in the shelves of your life?

S1 Ep 4Emotional Navigation System

In this podcast episode by the Squirrel Wrangler, imagine you're driving a car with a built-in GPS system, but instead of roads and traffic reports, it guides you based on how you feel. When you're on a smooth, scenic route filled with sunshine and beautiful scenery, that's when your internal GPS is saying you're on the right path—this represents those moments of joy, happiness, and contentment. Now, picture driving and suddenly hitting a bumpy, dark road with stormy skies and warning signs flashing everywhere. This is your internal GPS alerting you with feelings like anxiety, anger, and frustration. It's a signal telling you to stop, assess your surroundings, and figure out what got you there. Much like recalculating a route when you're lost, you need to pause, recognize the choices and actions that led to these negative feelings, and decide on a new direction—one that leads you back to that sunny, scenic route. So, tune into your feelings like you would your car's GPS, and let it navigate you towards a brighter, happier journey.

S1 Ep 3Nature's Wisdom Life's Lessons

🐭🐿️✨ True revelation: Watching nature can teach you more about navigating life and challenges than you’d expect. Look at the animals around us. Take mice and squirrels, for instance. While mice often make a mess and create chaos, squirrels diligently prepare for the future, storing up resources and creating new opportunities. We might find ourselves annoyed or distracted by these creatures, but what if we took a different perspective? Consider what they’re each bringing to the table. Mice may seem negative, hiding in the walls and tearing things up, but maybe they're also teaching us about resilience and adaptability? And those squirrels might be reminding us of the importance of planning and innovation. If you’re struggling with negativity or challenges, try to see how those situations could transform into positives. How can you learn, adapt, and turn obstacles into opportunities? I believe in your ability to find the silver lining and thrive. So take a deep breath, look around, and remember – even in the midst of chaos, there is wisdom to be found. Keep pushing forward, and let's all be a bit more squirrel-like in our journey! 🐿️🌟 #Motivation #NatureWisdom #KeepGoingFind out more at https://stacybraiuca.com/connect
