Pharma stocks in Asia plunge following President Trump slapping tariffs of up to 100 per cent on the sector with the EU avoiding the brunt of the impact due to its trade deal with the U.S. Q2 GDP in the U.S. expands by more than expected, notching the fastest pace of growth in almost two years. President Trump signs an executive order to keep TikTok operational Stateside. The company is valued at $14bn but Beijing avoids commenting on the deal.
