LSU Athletic Director Verge Ausberry joined Sports Talk. Ausberry discussed LSU's partnership with Woodside Energy, his new role leading the Tigers' Athletic Department, and the power of the LSU brand. He recapped the process of hiring new Tiger head football coach Lane Kiffin, who was their "first choice" to replace Brian Kelly. Ausberry also praised LSU head baseball coach Jay Johnson and previewed the future of LSU basketball.
