The first day in pads brought an added layer of intensity to Chiefs practice on Monday in St. Joseph, Missouri.
No player seemed more energized than new defensive end Frank Clark. He said he was happy not to play “that touch football, that flag football” without pads. Clark will line up next to tackle Chris Jones to give the Chiefs a formidable line.
