Welcome back to Beyond the Bracket, a special edition series of the SportsBeat KC podcast that’s here to get you ready for the NCAA Tournament.
Each week, I’ll be joined by reporters and columnists from around the country to discuss college hoops. This third episode features C.L. Brown, the North Carolina Tar Heels beat reporter for the News & Observer, and Joe Davidson, a columnist for The Sacramento Bee.
The regular season is over and it’s officially conference tournament week. First, Brown shares some insight into UNC’s upset over Duke in coach Mike Krzyzewski’s last game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Then we get into the postseason and discuss our picks for the ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 and SEC tournaments. To end things, we each give our current picks for the Final Four.
