Show Notes
The Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes (CHLM) was a groundbreaking all-Black men's ice hockey league that operated in Canada's Maritime provinces from 1895 to the 1930s. This league was the first and only of its kind in Canada and served as a vital institution for African Canadian communities during a time of widespread racism and segregation.
On today's episode we take a look at the CHLM.
