The Rays win their 5th straight as they once again lead the AL Wild Card race over Cleveland and Oakland as the bats have come back to life including Tommy Pham delivering the game winner in the 10th inning on Monday. The Rays stand 23-games above .500 with 23 games to play as the rosters expand so they have more pitchers to matchup. The Bucs cut their roster to 53 over the weekend with a surprising cut in Noah Spence, plus a trade with Pittsburgh for offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins and they claim running back T.J. Logan to add to their backfield. In College Football both USF and Florida State disappoint in their openers as the Bulls lose 49-0 to Wisconsin and the Seminoles blow an 18-point lead to Boise State.
