Episode 157: The Chasers in this week's episode talk NFL Championship Weekend, plus also the current hirings of Frank Reich for the Carolina Panthers and Nathaniel Hackett, the new offensive coordinator with the New York Jets. Aaron Rodgers trade rumors from the Green Bay Packers.
NBA talk with the Chasers as they discuss Lebron James' drive to upheave Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's NBA all-time points scorer. The Chasers again talk about load management and the state of NBA play.
The Host and Moderator take over for Dan, "The Hockey Dude," and discuss the NHL Power 16. Plus, Boston's record-breaking season so far… fastest to 80 pts in a season of 47 games(38-5-4) previous best was 1943-44 Canadiens and 1979-80 Flyers 49 games. Vancouver Bruce Boudreau was fired and replaced with Rick Tochett, and he brought in Sergei Gonchar and Adam Foote on the staff. As of now, Canucks are paying Tochett, Boudreau, and Travis Green, as the latter two were fired. They have 7.5 million wrapped up in head coaches. Kris Letang returned to the Pens lineup after the passing of his father, scoring two goals and two assists. First blue liner to have a power play goal and pp assist, an even-strength goal and even-strength assist, and the game-winner. Philip Chytil scored a rare goal off a face-off win against the Leafs. The god-awful defense nullified this in OT and saw Mitch Marner skate around all three orange cones, aka Rangers, to bury the OT winner. NHL All-star weekend is coming, February 3-5, in Sunrise, Florida, Panther's home arena. and new skills events. The upcoming outdoor game in Raleigh in mid-February is Canes vs. Caps.
