Show Notes
Washington Governor Bob Ferguson signed a new law, Senate Bill 6084, on Tuesday, banning double voting in elections and clarifying state voting rules. The law passed unanimously in the legislature and takes effect immediately. It makes double voting a Class C felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The law was prompted by a case in Lewis County where a man voted in both Washington and Oregon.
