Show Notes
Shelley Carlson, a 73-year-old Bloomsday veteran, is set to run her 50th consecutive race this year. Despite pregnancy and car trouble, shes never missed a year. Raised on a farm, she built stamina playing basketball and doing chores. Now, she walks most of the race with her husband, aiming to beat her time and run the whole Doomsday Hill. As one of the few women Perennials left, she cherishes the Spokane traditions and plans to keep going as long as her body allows.
