Show Notes
Sergeant Ken Salas, a 34-year veteran of the Spokane County Sheriffs Office, was tragically killed in the line of duty last August. His family and community are pushing for the Washington State Transportation Commission to rename the Four Lakes Overpass over Interstate 90 in his honor. Salas, known for his honor, even temperament, and dedication to service, was a beloved figure in the community. The Spokane County Commission has unanimously backed the idea, and the state commission is now considering the proposal. If approved, the dedication would take place on August 9th, one year after his death.
