George Takeis graphic novel They Called Us Enemy is at the heart of One Book, One Coast, a West Coast-wide book club starting April 1st. The novel, based on Takeis experiences in Japanese American internment camps during WWII, is being used to highlight a forgotten part of American history and promote themes of justice and inclusion.
