Show Notes
Eastern Washingtons mens basketball team extended their winning streak to seven games with a victory over Northern Colorado. Grad senior Huie led the scoring with twenty-three points and ten rebounds, while junior Hamilton added twenty-one points, five rebounds, and three steals. The inside duo combined for sixty-two points, propelling EWU to a ten and six record in Big Sky conference play. The team has gone unbeaten in February, defeating five of the top six conference teams during the streak. After a forty to forty halftime tie, EWU dominated the second half, exploiting foul trouble on Northern Colorados top scorers and hitting twenty of twenty-four free throws. The EWU womens team, however, lost to Northern Colorado, despite rallying from big deficits.
