Reece Jenkin, a beloved basketball coach at Colfax High School, passed away at 45 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed in December, he underwent chemotherapy and entered hospice care. Jenkin, a former standout player, led Colfax to three hundred wins, eight state tournament appearances, and titles in 2012 and 2021. His son, Adrik, was a star player and three-time league MVP.
