Prayer against jealousy Loving Father I come before You humbly asking for Your help to overcome jealousy in my heart Your word teaches that jealousy stirs up strife and division Proverbs 27:4 And I do not want to be controlled by this destructive emotion Forgive me for the times I have felt jealous of others their gifts their opportunities or their blessings Help me to remember that You are the source of every good thing and that You have a perfect plan and timing for my life Jeremiah 29:11 Lord Your word reminds me in James 3:16 that where jealousy and selfish ambition exist there is disorder and every evil practice Cleanse me from all envy and jealousy Create in me a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me Psalm 51:10 Teach me to be content with what You have given me Help me to be content in whatever state I am as Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-13 knowing that Your grace is sufficient and Your strength is made perfect in weakness Replace jealousy with love joy and peace the fruits of Your Spirit Galatians 5:22 Help me to celebrate the successes of others sincerely and to support those You bless May I trust in Your goodness and faithfulness believing that You will provide all I need according to Your riches in glory Philippians 4:19 Let my heart find satisfaction in You alone Thank you Lord for Your forgiveness healing and for setting me free from jealousy May I walk in humility and kindness reflecting Your love in all I do In Jesus' name Amen
