Our task is not to search for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within ourselves that we have built against it. -- Rumi

Patience is part of the description of love. Patience comes from our heart. It is a quality of kindness and love.

Let us have patience with all things, but chiefly with ourselves. Let us not lose courage by considering our imperfections, but let us instantly set about remedying them, everyday beginning anew.

If we can cultivate the right attitude, our enemies are our best spiritual teachers, because their presence provides us with the opportunity to enhance and develop tolerance, patience, and understanding.

When we remove the barriers from our heart, we realize that patience and love have been there all along. We are rooted in our goodness, in our love for others, in our ability to forgive. We have the ability to transform whatever happens in our lives.
