The Creative Power of Prayer

Prayer empowers us to live creatively and constructively. It consciously connects us with our Higher Power and strengthens our sense of self, self-worth, and meaning. Through prayer we fulfill our calling to participate abundantly in life. Special guest Rev. Terry Lund shares why prayer is such a powerful practice, and useful methods for expanding our prayer life. Rev. Terry was born into the New Thought movement and was raised with Unity principles. She graduated from Unity School of Religious Studies in 1989 and was ordained a Unity minister in 1990. She has ministered in Billings, Montana, and El Paso, Texas. Prior to becoming minister at Unity of Las Cruces in 2004, Terry served for nine years as the chair of the Prayer Studies Department of Unity School of Religious Studies. She has also served as an addiction counselor.
