It's true that a comic fan can find a girl and get married. In this episode I interview my wife Wendi Douglas aka Mrs. Crawlspace. In the show we talk relationships on this Valentine's Day episode. How you can incorporate your comic hobby into the life of your loved one. We also give tips on how not to have the girl run out of your pad once she sees the comics and toys everywhere.

In our first show of 2010 the gang discusses the increasing number of Marvel variant covers, we review Amazing Spider-Man 614-616, also the spider-puzzle teaser image and the future of the Spider-Man movies.

In this episode the gang tackles reviews of Amazing Spider-man # 608 and 609. We also discuss the St. Louis auction in which Amazing Fantasy #15 sold for $75,000. We then discuss Marvel putting comics on iphones and the possible casting of Rachel McAdams as the Black Cat.

This show has a little bit of everything. We do a review of the Ultimate Alliance 2 video game and have our regular recommendations. We then tackled the dozens of message board questions. Some of the highlights include us talking about the creepiest Spidey story, if the comics code should come back and there is a battle between Stella 52 and Bubba Moose. The spider-panel is all together for this month's episode. In the show we review Amazing Spider-Man #604-608 along with Spider-Man: The Clone Saga. The gang also discusses the lawsuit against Marvel from artist Jack Kirby's kids. For this month in Spider-History we tackle October 1985 which was a great month for Spidey.

Last month we celebrated 3 years of the podcast and 11 years of the site. We took live callers on that show and whenever we do that it's always a technical challenge. I had a lot of editing to do on those three shows that month and there were some funny moments I edited out. I didn't want to just throw them away so I though it'd be fun to splice all of them together for a blooper show. Now before you listen I have to give a warning. We're unfiltered here. Artist Todd Nauck has been in the news lately for penciling the team up between the Amazing Spider-Man and President Barack Obama. Issue # 583 of Amazing Spider-Man broke all kinds of records. We talk to Todd about that book, how he got the assignment and how quick he had to turn it out. We also discuss his work with Peter David on the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man title.

Our first guest of 2009 is artist Sal Buscema. He just celebrated his 40th year at Marvel Comics. He also holds the record for the longest penciling stint on any Marvel comic. He drew 104 issues straight of the Spectacular Spider-Man title. To honor Sal for this accomplishment we invited a few of his friends along. On the podcast we have Stan Lee, Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz, Roy Thomas and Danny Fingeroth.

Writer David Michelinie is our guest this month. He had one of the longest run on Amazing Spider-Man. He co-created Venom and Carnage. He also worked with artist Todd McFarlane, Erik Larsen and Mark Bagley in the 1980s and 1990s. Before tackling Spider-Man he had an incredible run on Iron Man. He gave Tony Stark a drinking problem and a best friend in Jim Rhodes. It's a fun hour long interview.

We answer questions from all around the world. Some are Spider-related, some not. The questions are all over the place, and you never know what the Crawl Space regulars are going to going ask the gang.
