Today on Spanning the State Kristin Brey announces the new 620am WTMJ lineup and the end of Spanning the State. Then Wisconsin Secretary of the State Sarah Godlewski joins Kristin Brey to talk about touring the state for Library Week and her first two years in office. She explains what her role as the Cahir of the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands is, what libraries she has visited, as well as her thoughts on Ben Wikler stepping down and what should the democratic party do now both locally and nationally. Later Natalie Eilbert statewide mental health reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel joins Kristin to discuss a new study by researchers on reducing the rate of suicide in the United States. Eilbert explains what they uncovered in the study, what the zero-suicide model is and how federal funding has impacting mental health programs across the state.
