Show overview
Spacetime Diaries has been publishing since 2020, and across the 4 years since has built a catalogue of 18 episodes. That works out to roughly 3 hours of audio in total. Releases follow a roughly quarterly cadence, with the show now in its 3rd season.
Episodes typically run ten to twenty minutes — most land between 9 min and 12 min — and the run-time is fairly consistent across the catalogue. None of the episodes are flagged explicit by the publisher. It is catalogued as a EN-language Fiction show.
The catalogue appears to be on hiatus or wound down — the most recent episode landed 1.7 years ago, with no new episodes in over a year. The busiest year was 2020, with 9 episodes published. Published by Ghan & Company.
From the publisher
Spacetime Diaries is a universe, where each season is a unique exploration of a particular moment on the timeline. 2020’s The Disappearing takes us to the planet Ankhara, and 2021’s Meditations are 12 minute adventures in exobiology. 2023’s Waking Up is set in Brooklyn, NY, in 2035 when a new, perceptual upscaling neuro-prosthetic brain chip is sold to the consumer market.

Production: Opportunities to express the "intelligent machine" concept were explored and used extensively in the production of Waking Up. For example, a custom MaxMSP patch was built to generate specific waveform melodies. Also, an AI model trained on Jenise Morgan's voice was used to create the computer commands heard in the middle of this episode. In fact, AI tools were used extensively, but notably -- every attempt with AI writing or composition failed miserably. The team is relieved that an artist's job isn't replaced quite yet.
