Show Notes

Was it really Ethan Katz who chased the snakes out of Ireland, or has he just chased the shakes out of some White Sox pitchers?

In Sharing Sox this week, SSS duty geezer Leigh Allan and his son and west coast corespondent, Will, bow to the (OK, just so far) miracles apparently wrought by the new White Sox pitching coach, at least where Dylan Cease and Carlos Rodón are concerned.

Then it’s on to how good the Sox pitching has been (OK, just so far), and how weak the hitting has been (hopefully, just so far), with the Sox giving up the fewest runs in the Cactus League, but also scoring the fewest. Is it the (marginally) more deceased ball? Or is it (marginally) more deceased bats?

Side trips to the backup catcher scene (yes, Zack Collins is hitting like crazy, just as he does most springs) and the roster cuts from Tuesday lead to Will’s story of the strange Sox Opening Day lineup and roster in R.B.I. Baseball 21.

And then there’s the strange case of how damnably secret the Sox are about pretty much everything, and how that’s bound to get much, much worse with the media-despising, insipid arrogance of you-know-who.
