Topic: Contrary to popular belief, the internet is not the cause of procrastination. In fact, there is evidence that people have struggled with habitual hesitation going back to ancient civilizations. Greek poet, Hesiod, around 800 B.C. spoke about it and Roman consul Cicero called procrastination “hateful” in the conduct of affairs. I am not sure if I would call procrastination hateful but it can certainly be harmful. Today we’ll be talking about the why’s of procrastination and what we can do to overcome it.
