Southern Remedy Relatively Speaking | It Takes A Village

We often talk about how it takes a village to raise a child. Today, I want to talk about building the village that is supposed to raise the children who then will become the village. I know you are all tired of hearing how we in Mississippi and our surrounding southern states are at the bottom of many wellness indicators but we actually are making changes and if we all join together, we can make a huge difference. Dr. Susan Buttross, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, is joined by Linda H. Southward, Executive Director of the Children's Foundation of Mississippi and Kelly A. Butler, Chief Executive Officer at the Barksdale Reading Institute.
