Shelter in place and safer at home, orders to protect us during the Covid-19 pandemic may be safer for most, but not all. Domestic violence is increasing. Job loss and social isolation while trapped at home with a person with aggressive /angry behavior have created the perfect storm. Today we’ll talk about domestic violence and what you can do when you or someone you care about need help with our guest, Dr. Julie Schumacher, psychologist, professor & Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Psychiatry at UMMC.
