Show Notes

This time of year, many people resolve to take better care of themselves by eating or drinking less, stop smoking or stop using drugs. Yet many resolutions fail. Often the reason is not lack of resolve but the lack of the ability to stop. Today we welcome Dr. Jeff Parker, Clinical Psychologist, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Dept. of Psychiatry, and Co-Director of Addictions for the UMC Neuro Institute and Dr. Saurabh B. Bhardwaj Addiction Psychiatrist in the Dept. of Psychiatry, and Medical Director of the Addictions Program at UMMC who will help us better understand substance abuse and addiction and how to help ourselves or others in this new decade.
